2 Ingredient Dough Bread Bowls

I love the bread bowls from Panera. So I made these by placing 2 ingredient dough circles, over an upside-down muffin tin (large size muffin tin). You just lay the flattened dough over the sections of the muffin tin and bake. No egg wash on these so they bake up nice and crisp. Recipe makes 4 bread bowls. 146 calories | 3 points each.

 

You can find my recipe for tomato soup here, but I've also had soft-boiled eggs in them for breakfast. You can find and purchase the pastry cutter here.

Total Cook/Prep time: 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup non-fat greek yogurt
  • 1 cup self-rising flour

Directions

Preheat oven to 400

Mix the yogurt and flour in a bowl until a ball of dough forms

Roll the dough out to about 1/4 inch thick

Tip: If you use parchment paper to roll the dough out, it won't stick to the surface (see video)

Using a 5-inch round pastry cutter, cut 4 circles out of the dough (you may need to re-roll the scraps to get the last circle)

Place each dough circle over a muffin-tin

Bake for 20 minutes
